About the Event
CUSTODIOL® HTK solution is indicated for perfusion of the liver, kidneys and pancreas, and their subsequent preservation before being transplanted to the recipient. Its characteristic low viscosity, resembling that of water, guarantees optimal perfusion of the organ, while the high buffering capacity combats ischemia and reperfusion injuries. The physico-chemical characteristics of CUSTODIOL® allow for fast and efficient cooling, while perfusion, with regards to time and volume, is mainly dependent on exsanguination and a clear effluent.
